See that's the thing I'm not too sure about. From what I've heard these new plans count everything towards your data cap not just streaming anymore.

But honestly I have the previous $50 plan and I know I've used over 1GB from YouTube alone, yet I've never been throttled down lol.

Same lol but don't know if I'm grandfathered in. Had the $50 plan when I had the ascend. Switched my service to my esteem which I got on the 19th and started with the $50 plan. So am I grandfathered in?

Not too sure about that one since they switched your plan to 4g LTE once you activated your Esteem. But if you sign in to your account on the MetroPCS website and go to my accounts (top right hand corner) you can check to see if you have the same plan or if they moved you to the new one.

I think you should be good though, but check just to make sure.

Nope didn't upgrade lol still says 1GB of multimedia streaming. I just Hope they don't count all data.

I don't think there a such thing of god-father in by metro..

I'm on the 60 plan, family plan..since Oct. I never had the data status bar it use to say you have unlimited data plan or something like that..

now it shows the data status bar..its at 0 but I haven't had it on my 4g ,I been using my wifi ..so I don't know..Later when I leave I'll try it out..

did you all look good at these new plans they are strip down aswell no Metro Nav , No More pre 411 and stuff you have to pay Extra for them now ... WOW im Gone I selling my Esteem

That stuff cost extra before. Not like you need any of it anyway since Android has navigation built-in and you can lookup any number you want on the phone.

wow not on the $50 plan i got with the esteem... But yes you are right you don't need all that stuff lol i don't .
