Well I personally think the whole point of a smartphone is the specs then the features. You can't have features without good specs. Well you can but it's gonna be a headache in how slow that shit is. lol So therefore they go hand in hand I guess.

That is so laughable, but you're intitled to your opinion.

If you really want to get down to it, BlackBerry beats em both in the business world

I am begging to see people who talk bad about the Iphone and say driods are the best are just saying that because they can't afford an Iphone or can't get approved for at&t or verizon service.

Sorry for the spelling mistakes but i wrote this on my andriod and when i tried to go back to fix them the stupid screen kept putting me in different place's.

Hey, no need to be a dick. First off iPhone is for people with no technical know how of phones and is highly overrated and you can customize the phone for shit but you sound only to be a troll that has no idea what they are talking about just to trash android. Most of us that are on MetroPCS is by CHOICE, which is what android gives you by the way, you have no choice with iPhone, besides black or white. ATT and Verizon are way over priced for 3G service which is what you only get with iPhone. $60 a month for unlimited everything is pretty much too good to beat and also NO TAXES lets see one of the overpriced big boys do that. But anyway you just seem to be a troll for the shitty iPhone so I am not gonna feed you anymore.

Thats crazy, Sprints 3G is horrible in my area, so slow, the 4G on my Esteem absolutely kills Sprints 3G, I average about 6mb download and my brother with Sprint, lucky to see 300k. iphone for business really?!

Let me rephrase my previous comment, BlackBerry's are used more in Business, just because of the physical keyboard and people hate change. Android is quite capable of doing anything a BB can do!!!

And like I have said b4, you cannot compare a $600+ phone with a $300 phone, its like comparing a Volkswagen to a Ferrari!!!

Yes the iphone is a better device than the Esteem, the Esteem is a mid-level phone, the iphone is a high-end phone.

To the OP, you get what you pay for!!!! Yea Yea I know you got your iphone for like $200 with a 2yr contact, enjoy the a$$ raping on that bill.

But if you want a fair comparison, compare a Droid Razr, a Nexus, or a device along those lines with your 'iphone', you will be very surprised at how much the iphone isnt the greatest then.

Yes todays standards the Esteem is a mid range phone, but when its sister phone (Revolution) came out it was high end. I still do not believe any iPhone is better than the Esteem, hell any entry level $100 android phone is better than any iPhone, sure a cheaper phone will have some lag and if its an LG with its custom skin it will have a little bit more lag because the skin is slow as hell I would rather have some slight lag than use a super fragile phone with an absolute boring UI with no customization and navigating through the menu system on iOS leaves a lot to be desired.

All I know is that my Droid RAZR Maxx destroys my wife's iphone 4s in every way. My LTE speeds are consistently around 20mbps, while she putters along at <1mbps. My battery lasts all day and then some while she needs that extra charge every evening. I am able to customize my phone to fit my needs while she is stuck doing what Apple deems appropriate for her. But hey - different strokes for different folks, I guess.

If it wasn't for the business / corporate market Blackberry would of disappeared a couple years ago.

iPhone is more business? I've never heard that before.

Blackberry is not really "business" anymore. Prior to about 1-2 years ago, every working professional had a blackberry and as PG pointed out, people don't like change. However, little by little they all switch to Android and iPhones (the female professional). RIM branded itself and appealed to the professional and really, it seemed that the reason these working professionals had blackberrys was not because it was better for productivity, but rather because every other working professional had one. However Android OS and iOS are both superior to BlackberryOS, the larger screens are useful, and they just can't compete with the app markets.

I'm just more of an Android person because I'm used to the platform. I was thinking about giving Apple a chance, but their screens are just too small for me to live with. I have an ipod touch which I'm assuming is close to an iphone, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on much.

Ugh, I'm so annoyed by this thread, the connect thread, and the rumored thread. I'm not going to read these threads anymore.

not really, the revolution was n is still a mid-grade phone, VZW just likes to charge more than what a phone is worth no matter how old it is lol.

I agree with that last part. Im so tired of seeing threads about OTHER phones. This is the ESTEEM section of the forum.

If I wanna find out what phone metro is about to release I will look elsewhere. I care about my ESTEEM. That's it!! Hahaha

Sorry. Went on a little rant there. I'm just so sick of hearing comparisons about Iphone vs Android. The iphone is ancient in my eyes. Android has since destoryed everything the iphone has done.

So until Apple revolutionizes the phone market again, Iphone will be 2nd to Android. Hate it but it's the truth.

no not really, I can make the AScend get great benchmarks, still doesnt make it not a pofs lol

Apple makes one iphone and 1 os just for it. ANdroid devices are made by many and while some go out of the way to build android to work well with their device, other just do the bare min n then ship it, like metro, cricket n many other. Moto spends tons of time polishing android for their devices, as does samsung etc, but only on the big name carriers as they pay to have it polishinged n refined, tho it doesnt always reflect it in the finished product lol.

In the end all that matters is that YOU like your iphone. I prefer my DroidX
