Default Extended battery percentage is way off help...please

Ok. A few weeks ago i bough the extended battery and it worked well. But in the last couple of weeks the indicator seems to be way off. It sometimes goes from like 40% to 5% in a matter of 10-15 minutes. Like it just happened to me a while ago. My phone has been at 1% for like 2 hours now LOL. The battery is working well but you know... it is kind of like driving a car with a broken fuel gauge.

Does anyone know a good way to calibrate it?

This sorta works. My problem is totally different though. My battery indicator is accurate from 0% to 98% but from 98% it skips to 100%. And it drops from 100% to 98% pretty quickly. I tried battery calibrator, I've tried draining to 0%, then fully charging. It's a hassle to drain and fully charge. The only thing I haven't tried yet was draining to 0% and then charging to 100% with the phone powered off. The curse of having such a big battery is that it takes like so long to drain and recharge.

I have had this problem before and googled about 2+ hours and tried everything and then it just fixed itself and I don't know how it did it. This is annoying because I want everything to be working perfectly and it's not really affecting performance much, but it still bothers me. I'm hoping that after a few days of using it, it'll fix itself.

Any other suggestions would be great.

When you go from stock battery to an extended battery you have to charge the extended battery to 100 percent calibrate it then let it drain tell dead recharge it and your good to go, also you want to calibrate when you change roms.

I know what you are saying I kind of gave up on this because after I got my extended battery I had the same issues I still do but left it alone mines goes to 98% that reminds me of the 99% threat remember lol

I HAVE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN . AND THE BATTERY LIFE IS DROPPING AT DIFFERENT RATE. BUT WHEN U CHANGE FROM STOCK BATTERY TO THE EXTENDED BATTERY I WAS TOLD TO WIPE THE STATS FIRST AND DO A FIX PERMISSION WITH IN THE CWM WHEN PHONE POWERS CLICK BACK IN THE CWM APP AND DO A FIX PERMISSION A SECOND TIME. YES THAT 2 FIXES AND ONE BATTERY CALIBRATE. IT WORKED AND U WILL SEE A BIG CHANGE. ALSO WHEN U COMPLETE THE FIXES YOU SHOULD REBOOT YOUR ESTEEM
