help phone is stuck on download is in progress screen
I recently tried to update my phone with lg's mobile update software, however in the middle of the update I had a power surge which interrupted the update. Now my phone is stuck on this screen. I tried to to a hard reset by using the volume and power button but to no avail.

When I select the zip folder it says not valid file type.
teamview me?
Did you unzip the MS910ZVB_01.SB_01.P3018.R1003.tot file that you downloaded
It needs to be unzipped-When you right click on the tot file-select properties and the size should match this:790 MB (829,030,400 bytes).

Hang on, biggie. If he can only select BIN file then that means that he is allowed to use the Upgrade option in LGNPST. we need to find out if his device is being recognized in LGNPST. If it is and he is still able to use the upgrade option then that is fine but the way the guide is set up it its only intended to use Emergency mode option. Now what he needs to do if the device us recognized in LGNPST and he only sees DLL and BIN file option then her needs to switch over to Emergency mode in LGNPST. This would be weird if it is stuck in download is in progress at the same time being recognized by the computer and still able to use upgrade mouse in LGNPST but either way he needs to be on emergency Nude and then he can then see the correct options too the right.

No problem with it not recognizing your device. When you update the Esteem through the LG Update took and it goes wrong then you're devices model number number and SW number enda up getting erased. This is why you're device is showing these numbers in LGNPST when you connect it. It IS being recognized but it doesn't have any information tied to it lol. So now that we HAVE established that it is being recognized we can go ahead and crank out the restore. Let me look at your screenshot and ***** again for you

Okay, now that you are all set up with the device being recognized, open up LGNPST and select the proper DLL up in File. Then you should be under the Provision -> Upgrade tab down at the bottom(If you see DLL and PB then you are all set on that). Go to select the DLL and select it properly then press the "Open PB" button and NAVIGATE TO WHERE YOU UNZIPPED THE .tot FILE TO(if you unzipped it to the desktop then navigate to the desktop). Once navigated to wherever you extracted it to, type in the .tot file name. Then select that title name. Then press start as long as you set everything up correctly and all of the DLLs are properly configured and selected

When opening up the window to search for the PB file you are not navigating to where the .tot file is located before typing in the .tot file name and pressing enter. Look at my all caps in the above post. Can't stress this enough. open Search For PB, NAVIGATE TO WHERE THE .tot IS UNZIPPED, THEN TYPE IN FILE NAMEN AND HIT ENTER.
This is your missing step, not navigating before typing the file name in. I promise and once you DO navigate to it and THEN types the name in and hit enter you will be ask good to go
