Default s i m card

Hi all, I'm new to this whole smartphone thing and sim cards. A friend of mine said one of the advantages of having a sim card is I can save contact info etc on the card?? Any idea how??

depends on the phone really. some phones you can go into the settings and select SIM card as the contact storage device. other phones you have to select the contact and select more options (this could be menu/edit/change...again, depends on the phone) and then select store to SIM.

On the Eve you have to open your contact and when press the middle button at the bottom of the phone you will have the option to copy it to your sim.
Dowside is to do it for every individual contact.

I did not check on how to do it in a batch but there is probably an app for that.

anyone know of an app or way that will save your contacts on your sim card as well, without having to do each one individually.?
