Default Questions...

hi there, just a few questions about the Eve.

1. when texting, I already got rid of the "word suggestion" that helps you suggest the word your typing, found it really annoying, so i dis-abled it. But something else similar when texting is, when I type in a word, sometimes I have to hit the space bar twice, because for some reason, when typing in a word, it "underlines" it, which I have no idea why it's doing that. Is there a way to dis-able that so I only have to hit the space bar once.

2. Is it possible when you create your new contacts, that you can add your own "face pictures" to your contact list. I tried playing around looking for a way to add a face picture to your contact, but no luck.

3. I'm using one of those leather cases to carry the phone around in. Find that if i were to recieve a text or a phone call, when I pull out the phone that the button on the screens will get touched when taking out the phone out of the case.

Question number one is a known bug that was fixed by the firmware update, also the Home and Back button sensitivity was lessened so that may fix question number 3 aswell. And for the photos i can only recommend playing around with it.

Here is how you add a picture to your contact.
Go into your contacts and edit the contact you would like to add a picture to.
Click on the picture frame in the top left corner.

Re: question #1.

Turn off the LG proprietary text prediction thusly:

Menu > Settings > Locale and Text > clear the "LG IME" text box.

I have no idea what the LG engineers were thinking here. The downside to this "fix" is that you are confined to the hardware keyboard when you disable the LG IME function.

thanks for your info and input.

is it possible to change your notification ring tone to a custom one, I tried but was only able to select the default ones that the phone comes with. Would be nice to personalize that as well.

another question i have is, how do i prevent the phone from taking the videos and making screen shots of it... everytime i watch my videos, it always take screen shots of it, and places it into my gallery folder.... which i don't understand why it does that... annoying to keep deleting the screen shots.

anyone know if i can somehow up-grade my video player, i downloaded some videos from youtube, but won't play at all, so don't know if that's the issue, since some videos will play perfectly fine..

if so, how abouts do i go in doing an upgrade to my video player?

thanks
