I too like the stock UI from LG. This phone has ran far better than any phone I have had in the past.

I would rather wait for a polished 4.4 LG UI mid next year than something quickly rolled out for early 2014.

IMO no worries...we get it when we get it

Will you guys stop posting these things? We've had 2 threads stating "g2 will not get an update to 4.4", and its just not true.

Remember the titles of these threads come up in Google and it misleads people.

The truth is, the G2 will very likely get an update. Nobody can tell you when, just wait. That's all you can do.

That's enough.

This is the G2 forum - for -G2 owners and G2 lovers.

No one here really cares about SGS4.

Any further astroturfing will be deleted.

Per the site rules, I'm formally declaring this tangent finished here.

It's done.

I second that and that's talking from experience, although not with LG:
My experience of Samsung's update to 4.1.2 of my old GS3 has been less than stellar and the 4.3 they recently pushed in the UK has caused widespread issues and has been pulled. Updates are not necessarily good news.
