Default Verizon LG G2 Service Menu

LG G2 Service Menu - LG Cell Phones Blog
This doesn't work for the LG G2 on Verizon.

I have found another post where using the dialer and:
##PROGRAM980 send
then 000000 for the service code
did get me into a special menu, but not the one I was looking for.

Evidently, people on other carriers having issues with the KnockOn, have been able to update firmware using the information in the URL above. It doesn't work on the LG G2. I wonder if that feature is completely disabled.

Verizon version does not have apk for the secret menu you are looking for. There is a thread on XDA about this i remember reading way back when.

edit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2467302 you can use the apf form other carriers and adb to launch it .

You need to install the apk then also make sure to create the file named "hiddenmenu" and paste the code into it and set permissions on it so that you can use a terminal emulator and just type "su; hiddenmenu" to open the HiddenMenu.apk up.

Works like a charm (gotta reboot though after copying hiddenmenu.apk into /system/bin and setting permissions). You can update your touchscreen firmware (solves a bunch of issues) as well as disabling thermal throttling (also can be done with a custom kernel I guess) as well as a lot more but be careful with what you play with.

This one does work. I used it a couple of weeks ago to fix my knock on after I went back to Malladus from Cloudy.
