Did you use the LG software you can install on the computer? Or the one that comes up when you plug in your phone?

Just finished the upgrade, I am officially on ICS and all my apps are still on. Seems to be running smooth, can we use the same root method for ICS?

Do we have face unlock?

Also I installed the 5.7 and it said successful, didn't seem to do anything. Backing up texts then hopefully I have one more OTA.

EDIT: It did actually add a B to the firmware version, so I suppose minor changes.

Do you still have root after???? Mine fails on the 5.7m upgrade, guess I need to use the updater program. Ok if rooted the updater program seems to be the way to go... It's downloading a 628.24mbyte update right now.... Hoping It keeps root afterwards.........Ok So no it does not keep root, will try the root tool and see if it will work......No go, guess we gotta wait till someone comes up with a root tool for ICS on this as the spectrum root fails

Downloading the 384 now!

I had to disconnect from wifi (and connect using data :/) in order not to get an error. But after it gave me the download now button, I turned wifi on and data off to download it now. 22%!

Well, in the midst of trying to unroot, I bricked my phone. :P Went to the VZW store, but they were out and had to order a replacement. Can't get this one past the initial LG logo.

Can't just use the restore tool?

But seems cool.

Facial unlock is neat, but only useful on maybe a computer.

How do I enable the lock screen? I can get the pattern, but otherwise it just goes back where I was, no slide to unlock.

Also, how did this guy have battery percentage? Looks nice.

Nope. Restore tool can't communicate with the phone long enough to connect.

WTF, the Lucid got 4.0.4 too?? My gf said she has an update waiting on her phone, so I'll install it when I see her tonight. About damn time, she got her's quicker than my damn Rezound did.

Does KDZ work from download mode? Or do I need to do something else? Just getting an extract error.

Did you convert the file from cab to kdz first?

KDZ_FW_UPD_EN.zip

Ok,

So I'm using the UPTest program to convert the cab to kdz. Then I go to run KDZ_FW_UPD and I'm still getting the extract error when opening the kdz file.
