streaming video?

Anyone know what formats are supported for streaming video? Some video I can see just fine, They either play in the browser or the video player. With other the vidoe player will launch but then I get the message unable to play video.

I also can't play bliptv videos for the shows I like

not sure what the difference is, but i'm guesssing http. Since I have to go to the site first and click on an embedded video link
