It's not that I need it it's just if this is some people's 1st android they won't be able to get flash on it so that's why I linked the official website because it has all of the flash players.

if you had it on your previous phone just put in your gmail account credentials, go to "my apps" then thumb over to "all" and scroll until you find it.

i would, but it's not normal adobe flash or something, the apk isn't listed anywhere on my phone.

are you guys all positive you actually need the flash.apk ? have you guys tried to run anything or was it just that you didn't see the apk listed anywhere installed or available for dl in the marketplace, so you assumed you needed it, which anyone would (and to my knowledge you obviously do need it to play most flash ;/ ) but surprisingly in my case everything works in this area with out needing to download and install any flash program.

i'm using the preinstalled chrome/chromium, maybe it's an add-on in there somewhere? -- adobe says it's built into chrome but might be disabled

edit: it's funny it even says i need to upgrade/install adobe flash player, when i say.. visit youtube but low and behold the vids load up and play just fine. (with desktop mode also)

I believe the archived versions from adobes website dont allow updating from the appstore, but i may be wrong about that.

I have a stock 11.1 on my dropbox that will upgrade to the latest player in the appstore after installation.

Which app store? I thought Google had taken Adobe Flash Player off of the Play Store. How can we update it through the app store?

The ONLY way it ever updates through the play store now is if you downloaded it before they took it off for new users

I'm running the stock rom, with a rooted phone, and I have tried the posted flashplayerics.apk posted above, and from the website on adobe, but I cannot get it to work.

I have developer mode on, with debugging, and install non-market apps. I get some error, one second and I'll recreate it and post the error.

I tried the stock 11.1 .apk that someone posted in their dropbox, and it doesn't work. It allows me to open it, and click cancel, but not install.

Adobe keeps an archive of the installable Flash Players online here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

You can just scroll down until you see the Android versions.

This is the latest for ICS/JB http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.36/install_flash_player_ics.apk

And here is the latest for Froyo/Gingerbread http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.111.31/install_flash_player_pre_ics.apk

Enjoy Flash.

Just a shot in the dark: I know that flash player is incompatible with google chrome mobile, but is there someone out there who would know how to convert the built-in chrome flash plugin (that is accessible via PC) to a mobile-version-chrome-plugin?
The reason I ask is that I think that the chrome mobile browser is the best one out there (even better than dolphin IMO), but there are some websites that utilize flash and you get the "missing puzzle piece" notification on chrome-mobile. (no flash support) This is why I still have the mobile flashplayer on my phone as well as dolphin browser, which supports the separate flashplayer plugin. It would be awesome to just have chrome-mobile as an exclusive browser WITH flash support!!!

Got the most recent Flash player (verified the version was the same as the posts above), then integrated it into the /system/app area of my phone (which implies that I've rooted it), so it's now a system app!

Thumbs up Thanks bunches

Thanks for the apk. I had down loaded it from the play store before, so it was still in my list. However, when I tried to download it now for my new Motion, it gave me some kind of error. Well, I downloaded the apk from your link and now it works. Yay! I did find that it doesn't work with Chrome though I can get it to work with Dolphin. Oh well.

The LG Motion 4G is another mid-tier device, this time headed straight to Metro PCS customers. It may not be a superphone you have beend reaming of, but it will do great considering its $150 price-point.  It's 1.2 GHz dual-core processor... Read More
