On the lock screen, it says "Metro PCS" in the corner. Is there any way to get rid of that? Example is below.

Yes but you have edit an xml.

Widgetlocker. Can't remember if you have to pay for the app, but it allows you to customize all kind of stuff on the lock screen.

I have widget locker , Works great! Better than magic Locker or Go Locker ( I miss Holo Locker but I can only use with Holo Launcher and I use Nova Prime (Prime is paid one)
