I take back what I said.. I love nova prime.
So in a few previous threads about launchers I have cheered for holo and holo hd launchers. I've tried (and bought) most of the launchers on Google play; tsf, spd, adw, go, ftl, zeam, apex pro, holo and holo hd pro, and nova (free version). Plus a few in between.
I tried nova free when I first bought the motion, I wasn't totally impressed with it at the time. However, as most of you know, Google has been rotating a new set of apps for 25 cents for its 25 billion app downloads celebration. Today was the last day and nova prime was up there. Figured hell, it's only a quarter, and bought it.
The long story short.. I absolutely love it. Fast, smooth, great transitions and decent custom options. Pretty stoked about it, I'm not totally prepared to abandon holo hd on my nexus 7, but we shall see.
As far as apex's table ui option, it can easily be mimicked in nova. Just hide the dock bar and add a shortcut to the desktop for the app drawer, using the dotted icon, in the top right corner, remove labels on desktop and bingo, looks/functions identically to apex's "tablet ui".
Curious, how many of the 25¢ apps did you guys buy. I went crazy, bought about 15 apps and games, a few movies for 4 or 5 bucks each (super bad, pineapple express and Green hornet) and game informer magazine. Spent like 20 bucks for.. Idk like 80 dollars in swag, I'm not complaining. I've had my eye on more than a couple of the apps I bought.. 25 cents each sealed the deal.
If you are wondering why I'm so long winded tonight its the pain meds lol. Injured my back pretty bad and the Dr sent me home with a goody bag, makes me talkative

Ha ha. Are you taking steroids? My Mom has to take high dose steroids every month and it makes her very talkative. I like nova a lot but started noticing some strange lag after a few days of use. Not bad lag but it may have something to do with my calendar widget.

Sent from my typewriter.
Yeah, I'm loving it myself . You only bought nova? How could you restrain yourself!? Some of the apps were just blindingly awesome for the price, and even the ones that were just "meh" were still worth buying at a quarter.

No steroids, they have me on 10mg lortabs (vicodin). Got me loopy and groggy at the same time lol.

I bought angry birds space and air control. I saw nova on my optimus s as compatible but I'd rather have games than a fancy launcher I only had 67¢ on a prepaid visa gift card lol

The game I play the most is Skies of Glory. A GREAT airplane war game especially for a phone.
I probably use Tune-in more than I do any other downloaded app. It's great to be able to search on a particular station, genre or a particular show. Interestingly enough, I also have it on my Pooder and they have totally dorked up their website. You used to be able to pull up a particular show and see ALL the stations that played it, when they play it and if currently playing how long remained of the show. You can no longer do that. Eedeeits. However, if you save the show on your phone Tune-in as a favorite, that function is Still Available. So, as nuts as it sounds, I'll pull up the show/station info I need on my phone and go the the Pooder and listen.
In the category of WAY TMI,
You only have the midgrade pain pills. Once you get to the high octane ones like Oxies and other forms of opiates, prolonged use comes with the downside of you not being able to poop. And, When you stop taking them and finally Can poop you'll swear you are giving birth.

I haven't played with tunein too much yet, I'm usually listening to pandora. I've heard good things about tune in though so I think it'll be worth the quarter.
As far as the pills are concerned, I know there is stronger, but 10mg is on the high end of the opiates in the vicodin arena. Norco, lortabs, vicodin, percoset etc. Pretty high dose for just a back sprain but whatever lol. I know oxys are wy stronger but hardly necessary for my injury, and I know too many people hooked on that crap as well as vicodin, so I use as directed only (most of the time).
The LG Motion 4G is another mid-tier device, this time headed straight to Metro PCS customers. It may not be a superphone you have beend reaming of, but it will do great considering its $150 price-point.
It's 1.2 GHz dual-core processor... Read More
