No Service Plan

I want to know if I can use the lg motion without a service plan? I only want to surf the web and social media.

Facebook youtube,twitter all that stuff.

I have wi fi but I've heard that i will have to "unlock" the phone.

I dont know what that means but it sounds difficult and I don't want to mess up a brand new phone.

Any advice here is greatly appreciated.

Ya but I don't know if you can get the extra $50 off. You would pay the 99 price.

yea I'm not really too worried about that. Although I will try to get it. I just need some type of mobile device for my biz & have no need for phone service. Tablet is too slow I think, so I figured this would be my best bet.

If you want a tablet, I would suggest the Nexus 7 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. They are both really fast and have a good developer base.

But to answer your question, yes you can use the LG Motion as a kind of mini tab without any "unlocking". This is the case with all Android devices.
