Unhappy LG Optimus 2X broken LCD Display

Hi, Yesterday I just received my great new lg optimus 2x, unfortunately, less than 24 hours later it felt and broke the display. I've been browsing around and buying the display is not a problem. Question>
-Is it easy to replace it myself?
-should I send it to someone qualified? if yes, please refer me to somebody.
Thanks

If you don't know what you're doing it's probably best to have someone do it for you. Not worth breaking another display.

Without knowing your location it's hard to recommend someone who can replace the screen for you.

I'm at the Dominican Republic right now, but I'll be in Memphis in about 10 days, so what I'll probably do is order the display on the internet, so by the time i get there it has already arrived and then take my phone and new screen to a tech savvy person.
Thanks for the quick answer.

There's actually been a lot of iPhone 4 screens smashing around my parts, gorilla glass might have a fault? Or people need to keep their phones attached to their belts via string to stop them dropping them on the ground :L

Gorilla Glass isn't indestructible by any means, it's just stronger than 'regular' glass.

I recommend you to go on the nearest LG authorized customer service.
Almost in every big city LG has a autorized service.
They will replace the front cover ( touchscreen / panel ) and the display if needed.
