I recently upgraded my phone to 2.3.4 using the lg updater on my laptop but it stopped at 97% completion. everything works fine and it got all the 2.3.4 updates but when i tried to do it again (after the lg updater told me that there was an update for my phone) the process gets cut off and a message box comes up telling me to contact lg , which i did and customer support wasn't very supportive.

WHat can i do?

hey everyone ive updated my lg 2x to gingerbread using kdz.My issue is that it shows an R as if im roaming and having trouble using my data. Is there a way to go back to froyo? i'm from canada

Do a smart flash. Only down side is you'll lose all your apps etc

You have to download a few things. I watched a video on YouTube it'll show you what you need to download and how to do it

it works fine, a bit better than it did before the incomplete upgrade, the main issue is that i cant seem to get the new updates from the lg pc updater. Now whenever i start the updater it bugs out after the phone analysis stage and tells me to contact the lg support guys and as i stated earlier, they didn't offer much support apart from telling me that i should take it in to a lg authorized repair shop, which is in another state (the only one on the east coast, maybe even the country).

So did you do the smart flash and now its bugging out or is it just bugging out?
