Question about LG optimus 3D android phone app2SD storage?

phone spec:
8GB=1.5GB OS Rom + 1GB Internal Storage + 5.5GB External Storage, Am I correct?
App2SD can work for 1GB internal storage to 5.5GB external storage, but it cannot work for 5.5GB external storage to my 16GB external SDCard, Am I correct?
