Dear all,
I've checked the forum, but it seems I may be the only one who´s got this problem. My LG-p970h (bought on the grey market, I don't know where it originated) will not upgrade. It runs 2.2.2. I've tried rooting, but was unable to. The upgrade seemingly goes according to plan, but when the phone reboots, it is unaltered. Same OS, and all my add-on apps and documents in place.
I'm starting to dispair!
LG sent me instructions, which I followed carefully. Alas, the same result.
Does anyone know
1) How to work around this
2) How to find out which market the phone was made for?

Hi. I'm having exactly the same issue with the same phone. I have used lg phone updater and lg suite but after the update and reboot I'm left with 2.2 still
