Confused Can Android 2.2.1 recognize youtube's iframe?

I know we can't root this phone yet, so there's no Flash Player for it until that happens. However, I can't play videos embedded using the new iframe code, they just show up as a black square with a message on the upper left corner asking to install Adobe Flash Player.

So, does anybody know of an app to view that type of videos? I thought Android 2.2.1 was capable of doing so but so far I can't view them unless they were embedded using the old embed code through the youtube app.
