1) I have Advanced Task Killer
installed, and I do use it. When I last used it, my memory went from 238M to 289M.
2) At the suggestion of another thread, I downloaded App 2 SD
. I ran the app, and it showed only 2 apps that could be moved; when I tried to move one of them (AppBrain App Market, 2.41MB), I got this: "Failed to move application. There is not enough storage left."
3) So then I installed Astro File Manager
to see what's on my SD card (which has 2G storage). I ran the app, which showed 3 directories. All 3 of them, when selected, said "Directory is empty."
Anyone have a clue?? Thanks!
Well, I don't know what is causing your problem, but the first thing I would do is get rid of ATK. You don't need it, and it does more harm than good. There is plenty of info out there about this if you care to look. For moving apps to sd, check out an app called "Link to SD". It will allow you to move a lot more than App 2 sd, including the Dalvik cache. Honestly, though, if you already have 200+ MB of free memory, that is plenty, and shouldn't be causing any problems.
