Default LG Optimus Elite

Hi. I cannot send email from my LG Optimus Elite. I can receive them just fine, but when I try to send them out, it says "connection error". What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Is this the stock email app, or Gmail app?
Also, I will move this to the Optimus Elite forum.

What app are you using to send? Have you used these accounts on an android prior to this? Are you sure that your pop3/imap settings are correct?

I just ordered this phone yesterday and can't wait to get it. I don't use G-Mail but Yahoo. Will I have a problem retrieving my email? I've never had a smart phone before and excited and scared at the same time. ;-)

You'll be fine. You just need to use the correct settings.

I also use Yahoo.

There is a Yahoo Mail app that is easy to set up and it works very well.
