I use GoLauncher/jellybean theme - App called Oemga status/jellybean Omega Status Bar theme to change status bar.

Note: Oemga app runs in the background to be able to change the status bar look.

Vishwar,

Very nice! Is that some sort of theme? Do you have to be rooted to do themes?

I've only had it for a week. After losing my OV, I was forced to get a new phone, and for the price, I am pleasantly surprised with this phone. Rooted, pretty plain and basic look, ADW, nothing special.

Power Toggles. Free and great. If you're rooted it will do GPS without taking you to the settings. There are lots of options and it looks pretty nice.

A great widget. I'm still playing with it's options.

I don't have an exciting SS, but here it is...

I see that it has a "Wifi Hotspot" option and that is why I have been afraid to use it. (Per the sticky at the top and the error/problem it causes). Would it be easy to accidentally turn on the Wifi hotspot? I presume it isn't one of the default "button".

There are a lot of different toggles and the hotspot is one of the defaults. You can completely customize it and remove that option before adding the widget to one of your screens. There's no risk of accidentally turning it on if you do that. Just open the app from your drawer before using the widget and play around with the settings and options.

What Louiedog said......"completely customize"

I'm using Power Toggles also. It's a great power widget.

I downloaded Power Toggles. It is pretty cool. I like the transparency setting.

I use Elixir 2 Widgets and if you make it a system app you can toggle the gps on and off with one click instead of opening the menu. Does that work with Power Toggles?

How do you make an app a "system app"?

cut/paste the apk in to /system/app/ and reboot.

There is also an app called /system/app mover, and I think Titanium Backup and similar apps can also do it.

I take it you have to be rooted to have the permissions to do this?
