Default No bluetooth connection between OE and Nexus 7

I can pair the Optimus elite with my Nexus 7, but when I try to connect one to the other via bluetooth (going either way), nothing happens.

any thoughts?

What are you trying to accomplish? Bluetooth tethering? Transferring files via Bluetooth?
What apps are you using?

Well, bluetooth tethering was one thing I was trying, but in general I just thought it was an issue that I couldn't connect the two, regardless of what I wanted to do. I can't think of anything I absolutely need right now with it, but still, shouldn't they connect? Seems like a ridiculous issue to have with such technology...

Typically the built-in Bluetooth functionality is used to connect headsets, audio systems, keyboards, mice and other peripherals to your phone/device.

If you want to use Bluetooth tethering ( sharing the data connection of the Elite with your tablet), then you'll need to use apps for that such as FoxFi on the Elite with PdaNet Tablet on your tablet.

If you're trying to transfer files via Bluetooth, then you'll need an app for that as well.

Ah ok, I guess that's why foxfi didn't work before, no pdanet on my n7. Thanks for the info.
