Default Any must have apps? (recommendations)

While I'm going to download most of the apps that were on my old V I wanted to see if there are any you guys recommend to have on the Elite. I am going to try that Holo Launcher because for the longest time I was using SS Launcher.

top notch file manager called FX file explorer. FX is root friendly and highly customizable. i would also suggest MX Media player with the armv codec. plays all sorts of movie files. and tune in radio. all local radio streaming and it streams it well, plus tons of other music from everywhere. you can even configure the type of music stream to optimize the play back. and quickpic as a gallery replacement. far better than stock gallery.

These are my recommendations,

SMS backup+
Cerberus anti theft
ROM toolbox.
Evernot
Tasker.
Inka file manager.

Also I love Xperia S Walkman player port ( work on most of the Android devices)

I use Holo Launcher.
Also like:
- Android Assistant (18 features)
- DataSwitch (to kill 3G)
- Flixster (can also manage Netflix)
- Carr Matey (kinda cool to get you back to where you parked car, etc.)
- Jango (internet radio customizable to taste)
- Like Curtis1973, I use MX video player (I use ES File Explorer, buy I'll have to try the Curtis1973 is using to see if I like it better)

you won't be disappointed with fix file manager. it was highly polished and professional during betas. I'mpprimarily using root explorer but am switching back to fix. only used root explorer for the elite. don't need it now on the one v.
