Default rooting

I wana root my gt540 and downloaded z4root but i read sumwere that z4root works 4 optimus t or s or sum shit, but i wana no if i can root with z4root on my optimus gt450 or will it fuk it up

go ahead.it works for lg gt540.if you afraid, then go for temp root first, which will return to original state after reboot.

If you're running 1.6, you'll have to use UniversalAndroot.
