Hi, I recently bought a second hand LG GT540. I have loaded an 8GB micro SD card. However, when I try to access the card the error message 'sd card not mounted' is displayed.

I have tried removing the card and re-inserting it. I have reformatted it. Neither of these have worked.

The card works fine on my laptop and other (non android) mobile phone.

Can anyone offer a solution please?

Are you using a custom ROM? Or just stock 2.1/1.6?

i am also having the same problem when i use 2GB card it works fine and when i insert 4GB or 8GB card it say unavailable i am using oxygen 2.3.7 ROm kindly help me please
