Question Email function
Hi everyone

This is my first post on this forum site. I need help with something.

I am a UK owner of an LG Optimus L3 on O2.

I want to use the email function found in the main menu. Upon doing so, I am trying to add my Hotmail account into it, by clicking the 'Other' icon, instead of 'Microsoft Exchange'. It would save me having to use my Hotmail android app.

I'm having a few problems with setting up. Whenever I try it with no Security Type, it takes forever on the loading screen. When I try something different, it keeps saying that it failed to connect to the server.

Could any of you explain what I need to do if I want to do this?

Have a look at this, you need to use the Exchange route for hotmail on imap
