Default Why did LG remove Apps 2 SD?

They have to have a reason right? It's part of the Android operating system so why was it removed? This is pretty bad. It's not the apps that I have a problem with but my magazine downloads are also being stored on the internal memory. I have a crappy Asian tablet that doesn't do that. So what the hell. Why was such a feature removed that does nothing but cause headaches and limit the function of the phone

??? All versions of Android has Apps 2 SD so this had to be something LG did themselves.

I was told this from an LG rep: "Due to requirements on Googleís Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, applications canít be moved to the SD card anymore. You can try a third party application to do this, although this is not recommended and we are not able to suggest or recommend one as we canít support them."

Is this true?
