Angry Help!!! Need desperate help!!!

I'm not sure what happened, but one of the kids at my school started looking around at my phone...

The next thing I know, I have NO LAUNCHER. From what I can see, he moved my LGhome2.apk to my external sd card.

However, without a launcher, my screen goes completely black!

Does anyone...or did anyone...copy the original stock ROM?

If so, I need help to reinstall it OR...to be able to force the LGhome2.apk back to the internal phone.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to open up my rooted phone on my computer, in order to force the launcher back to the correct folder.

I need to know details of the following:

1. HOW do I do this?

I CANNOT USE MY PHONE AT ALL NOW for phone calls, emails, text messages, etc. I have already attempted several hard boots (vol down while pressing home key) and it doesn't do anything.

I'm actually in tears now because I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!!

Please help!

Go to the pc version of Goggle Play and download a launcher. It might take a little while for it to download. Give it ten minutes or so, then reboot your phone. It should boot up with your new launcher being visible.

Until they figure out what recovery is going to work, and how to install it so a nandroid backup can be made of your system you might want to do the pattern lock security. Download a widget app that has a lock widget. When your at work lock it. When your home you can select to unlock it with the widget. This will keep you from having to use the pattern lock everytime you want to use the phone. With the phone being unlocked with the widget you can't put it into a pocket or anything as you could wind up pocket browsing.

I wouldn't recommend a pattern lock, cause after 5 trys you can reset it, which isn't good.
Pin on the other hand doesnt ask for a reset after 5 trys and the 30 sec wait, just remember the pin..

I would suggest having a ruler handy to smack their hands when they come near the phone. Then you don't have a pin to worry about

The LG Optimus M+ launched as an affordable device for Metro PCS. It is also the successor to the LG Optimus M (Optimus One). But the specs haven't been improved as much as we would expect. The device comes with an 800 MHz processor, a 3.5-i... Read More
