Is the phone still under warranty? If so I would recommend having LG to fix or replace the phone. But hopfuly someone will be able to better help you.

if somehow you can get it on once you can root it and and remap the hardkeys. Like say for instance change the camera button to power. But if it's still under warranty I would send it in.

So you will have to root your phone...if you can turn it on.

I tried Button Remapper(free), but there is also a paid version for $1.03:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/12/20/modder’s-column-how-to-remap-your-android-phone’s-hardware-buttons-without-touching-a-single-line-of-code/

But I also found this:
Keymaps and Keyboard Input | Android Open Source

On my Optimus I only saw 3 "buttons"

226 Headsethook
116 Power
107 Endcall

I have no idea that button Headsethook and End Call are...but might be worth a shot.

I bought the Button Remapper app. Good for powering down or rebooting (my power button is also broken), but does not power up.

Plug in your charger and when it is on the black and white LG screen, take the charger out. The phone will boot up.

I like to charge my phone while it's off but seems like every time I power down then plug it in it turns on which is annoying for me but if it works perfect for all of you.

My power button broke, as in just doesnt turn the phone on - no water damage. Sprint is shipping a new one, but will take 3 days, and my phone locked up and shut off about an hour ago. What a life saver since i dont have a house phone, and i use my cell for work (consultant). WAY TO GO GOOGLE AND ANDROID FORUMS!

That didn't work for me. If I unplug it on the LG screen it just turns off.

Tried this on my wife's Optimus F3 and it worked. Power button is still shot but it was dropped in a cup of tea. I am glad that is the only issue...
