Default New to Optimus: SD card and alarm clock question

Hey all,

I am new to the smart phone thing, but have been reading some posts here that have helped.
I have read other places that there's this problem with the SD card mounting and unmounting. This happens to me ALL THE TIME! any fixes?

Also, has anyone noticed that their phone turns off when using it as an alarm clock? I have noticed that if I am charging my phone and it charges to completion before my alarm goes off, the phone turns off! have missed class several times now because of this. Is there a setting I can change for this?

Thanks =)

Buy a new microSD card. Preferably atleast a class 4 card.

In addition to the new card make sure you format it in your computer before you put it in your phone. That should take care of the sd issues.

It can but there are some who still have had issues when formatting just from the phone. If you format from the computer (not quick format) it will definitely work. My 2ยข
