I am having trouble with my ex harassing me. I stopped answering my phone when he would call. We have 2 children together so when one of them are with him I feel like I have to answer in case something is wrong with them. He takes advantage of it. Someone told me to get an app so that I could record it when he calls me. I checked with an attorney who said FCC laws stated it was legal to record a conversation as long as one of the parties involved knew it was being recorded. Since the conversation is between me and him and I know it's being recorded it's legal. I don't want to take legal action against him because of the children and he's basically a good guy. He just can't accept it's over. I just want to let him know that I've recorded a few calls and maybe that will scare him enough to cause him to stop.
There are several apps but I don't really know which one to choose. Any advice would be appreciated.
