This doesn't answer your question directly, but just making sure that you know about Skyfire Browser which is a web browser that can play flash videos.

I tried five different versions, and none of them worked.

I just tried it out, and it didn't work for me. Even if it did, the video feature is only free for 3 days. I generally don't pay for software, although I do make donations for some services on my PC.

I just want to offer suggestions to those who either don't want to root their phone, or prefer not to install apps downloaded from unknown sources.
