reinstall stock messaging backup file
I made a backup of the stock messaging app then I uninstalled it because I'm using handcent and was irritated by being notified twice about messages.
I started have a few problems with handcent so I went to reinstall messaging but it just sits there saying restoring app (I have also tried app+data) I have let it sit for an hour to no avail. I have worked out problems with handcent but I can't let go of why it wont restore.
(it didn't occur to me to turn off notifications in messaging.)
