Really? This is the first I'm hearing of the these "alot" of problems that would warrant a recall.

I concur whole heartedly! My Optimus has faithfully served an abusive master, without complaints. I've gotten my money's worth out of it several times over, in spite of my best attempts to brick it.

It isn't the battery. This has been happening to me for a while.. My daughter has the same phone and because I'm unable to charge my phone in wall (it charges in car)) tell she and I switch batteries back and forth. She charges them both. I hope someone finds a solution

Most times it's not the battery. It can be either the usb plug itself on the phone is faulty, or the usb cord is faulty. Because you can charge just fine in the car, we can rule out the usb plug in the phone. I would guess it's probably the USB cord that's faulty.

Personally I've never had any issues with charging.

+1^
It could also be the wall outlet receptacle part of the charger (can't remember it's actual name).

i have a Samsung Infuse 4G. I fell in a pond and it ot wet. I put it in a bag of rice and all the water was absorbed. It works perfectly fine but it wont charge on a wall charger. It charges on my Laptop and my router for my Laptop but not in my car or any wall chargers. What do i do?

Be thankful it is still working. Then go over to the forum for your phone and ask them for advice. You will get the most correct advice for your phone there: Samsung Infuse 4G - Android Forums
Also: check your wall adapter and make sure it's working properly (swap it with a friends and see if your phone will charge).
