Angry Problem with microSD card

I know everyone is going to be laughing but I've really put myself in a hole.

I purchased a LG Optimus V from Radio Shack and it worked fine. Only problem was I was running out of room. So I 'rooted' it. Ok fine, that worked and I removed some of the bloatware.

Next I decided I needed a larger microSD card so I purchase an 16 GB and when it came I plugged it in and everything worked fine except a lot of apps won't go to the SD drive.

Then I read a posting that said I need to format the SD drive to two primary drives and to use Easeus Partition softwear to partition it. This worked find and I got it partitions setup as 1) 7GB and 2) 8GB. The writeup said that they both had to be 'primary' and Easeus wouldn't let me identified they both as primary. Easeus works from Windows. So I changed the second partition to the primary to see if that would work and it didn't. Next thing I knew my phone won't recogonize the microSD now.

This was all because of software that would move apps to the microSD if it is partitioned called Link2SD.

The microSD cards don't have adapters to miniSD or any larger SD that I could then plug into my desktop and reformat and there isn't a slot for a microSD.

Anyone have any idea how to make the phone see the microSD 16GB? Or am I going to have to purchase an adapter?

Most uSD cards (all I have seen) come with an adapter to SD.

Try using Minitool mount the phone. You should be able to delete your partitions and get it back to it's original size.

Barring that, check with the uSD manufacturer to see if they have a tool to reset it.

The phone itself comes with a micro sd to sd adapter.

If the phone won't recognize it you may need to get a card reader.

OK I got ahold of an adapter and reformated on my desktop. I now can see it and have all my apps that I can on it. I'm still looking at Link2SD to try to move more apps to the microSD but it wants two 'primary' partitions on the SD card. How do you do that? When I tried with EASEUS from Windows it says only one partition can be primary. This is what got me into trouble before when I did partition the microSD and then made the second partition the primary....then the phone wouldn't see the card at all. So from that I would assume that the first partition has to be primary but then the phone (or Link2SD) doesn't see the second partition.

Any ideas?

More than one can be primary, but Windows can only display the first.

Did you restart the phone? Did you have Link2SD installed? Or some other app that needed two primary partitions?

You know what they say when you assume.
