Default HELP! My phones browers seacrhes on its own!

This problem just started recently. I clicked on my web button and insted of my home page I got a search list full of adult web sites and when I switch to google the search history lists adult material and I haven even touched the phone for hours. I figure its virus doing crazy stuff, but I dont know if I can remove it, or do I have to factory reset my phone. If I do have to reset it, does that mean I have to go to the store to get the phone to work then?
I'm at my wits end.....
