Netflix to TV via LG Revolution (HDMI)

I have an LG Revolution and use it to watch Instant Stream Netflix. I want to get it to my TV, and hooked it up with an HDMI cable from phone to TV, but it does not show up on my TV when I start playing. I've tried all videos from Personal, YouTube to Netflix and it won't work?

Suggestions? Settings that need to be changed?

The user manual says you can only use the HDMI port to view user generated content, like your own photos and videos saved on your SD card. I've viewed videos I've copied to the card, but streaming media appears to be out. - MarkC

I've used it to watch netflix on the tv in my rv without a problem. There is an HDMI setting that needs to be turned on before it will send anything out which might be your problem.

yeah under settings>connections>HDMI
without that the phone wont send sigal for anything over hdmi. LG bought right for netflix for revo, the reason i got the phone. works well.

I can use mine just fine too with the TV, except with my TV's second HDMI port. It only works with the primary HDMI so I have to unplug cable box to use it.
