Default Questions about a Verizon LTE mifi and my Spectrum LTE SIM

Anyone know if I can put my LTE SIM from my Spectrum into a Verizon MiFi and have 4G on the mifi?
Do I need to add the MiFi on to my account (I have an old plan, not the new ones, so I really don't want to pay another plan fee for it, I checked Verizon's website and to switch to the new plans, add a mifi and cut my data from 10GB+2GB unshared (two lines) to 6GB Shared, will increase my bill by $90 a month) if I use the Spectrum LTE SIM?
Can I still use 3G on my Spectrum without the SIM card?
Can I use the SIM in the MiFi at the same time as I am using my Spectrum? (examples phone calls or wifi data through the MiFi)

just wondering as I (and others) have been having issues with using our Spectrums for wifi tethering, and someone local to me is selling a Verizon LTE MiFi cheap and wants to meet at the Verizon store to do the sale.
