Help getting wifi tether working!

Hi guys im on AOKP41 beta5 and wifi tether isnt working for me. Using the google one I get "failed" on Setting ad-hoc mode and I cant find the network on my connections list on my computer. Using fox-fi i just dont get internet connection, when I connect my computer to it the 4g symbol disappears on my phone.

Any help is appreciated! I'm moving in a few hours and wont have any internet for a while so please help

When I try to use USB tether on easytether or any other one, it can't find my phone when i try to connect it

Doesn't AOKP have built in wifi tethering like CM10 does? If so, use the built in app as I wifi tether on CM10 all the time.

I'm using CM10 and for some reason when I enable the portable hotspots option and then connect my ipad, data simply doesn't transfer through.
