Problems with LG support tool with the Thrill

Help! Th LG Mobile Support Tool only sometimes recognizes my Thrill. When it does i get 40% when the updater is checking mobile number, and then it kicks me out saying that my device does not support the update. Ive talked to ATT and LG and my head hurts now. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone had these same problems???

I got same thing as yours at first, then after restarted my phone and ran LG program again a few times, it eventually downloaded the update and installed it.
