Default Rooting Acer Liquid E (Froyo 2.2) - Fido

I have an Acer Liquid E phone (Fido), and its internal memory has been reduced down to about 28MB. I have the Froyo 2.2 update on my phone and I have transferred as many apps as possible to the SD card, however, there are apps that cannot be transferred and so Iíve had to uninstall program updates, for example, Google Maps, Gmail, Facebook and Google Market among others. Iím no longer able to use these apps because they require updates and thereís not enough room on my phone. There is an incredible amount of bloatware on my phone which I donítí need and I want to remove them as this will free up a lot of space in the internal memory. It looks like my only option, if I want to keep my phone, is to root it, itís no longer under warranty so thatís not an issue. My question is does anyone know the right way to root this phone? Iíve done some research online and there seem to be several methods; I donít want to end up bricking my phone. Thanks!
