The multitouch keyboard screws up my hardware keyboard. If I click alt once it locks into alt mode. The only way to keep it from doing this is to disable the mutitouch keyboard.
Can you please post a link to the stock android keyboard so that I have some form of software keyboard?
I bought the $1 LP Icons app and that (along with the DroidX app drawer icon) can be found here: Most Recent Icons | LauncherPro Icons
(all the other docs except for the tangerine one I posted can be found here...I had to tint the green one orange to make it work)

Yeah, I've used it quite a bit. Before now, I never hit the focus button "first thing" after opening the camera. I've been playing with it for about 10 minutes and can't duplicate your problem. Is it something that happens every time?

I'm also unable to duplicate the problem. The focus mode works just fine for me when I tap it first thing after opening the camera. It must be a compatibility issue with another app, or even the kernel you've chosen. I know it might sound weird that the kernel is the issue, but I just discovered last night that it was the P3Droid kernel I was using that was causing Goggles to force close (same result with Slayher kernels, but ChevyNo1 kernels don't cause the problem).
To troubleshoot my Goggles problem, I did a nandroid backup of my setup, wiped my partitions and loaded the naked stock ROM, then added nothing but wifi and Goggles -- Goggles worked. I then added just my theme -- Goggles worked. I then added the P3Droid kernel I was using and Goggles immediately FC'd when I tried to open it. Next I loaded a ChevyNo1 kernel and Goggles worked. I loaded P3Droid and then Chevy again to verify the result. When I tried the new Slayher kernels later in the evening, Goggles FC'd again. Maybe you could troubleshoot your issue in a similar fashion.

Good Points!
Also, you could try to go into ROM Manager > Scroll down to "Utilities" > Select "Fix Permissions". I know that this fixes some FC issues.
it wont let me remove launcherpro, it says its read only. i dont like the orange icons but other than that love this rom
Try typing:
su
sysrw
rmlauncherpro
sysro
and see if that works.
Or, if you have Root Explorer, just go to /system/app, tap the "Mount R/W" button at the top, long-press on Launcherpro.apk and delete it, then tap "Mount R/O."

Alright guys, been running 1.4 with Watermark'd for a day now and love it. My only complaint, and it's a little cosmetic one, is that the back ground for the in call screen has Chevy Symbols on it. Is there anychance someone could either remove them for me or tell me how to do it. I'm not much of a chevy fan.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, this is a known Watermark'D theme issue with this ROM. The Watermark'D theme was not updated for this ROM prior to Liquid releasing it. Liquid used the updated Watermark'D theme for Chevy's ROM as the base theme so you could have the upgraded things in the Watermark'D theme (like the lockscreen for example). Problem is that some of the "Chevy" specific backgrounds and logos were left behind and not noticed prior to release.
Liquid is aware of it but I'm not sure what the immediate fix action will be.

I see that GirLuvsDroid has posted the stock android keyboard (Thanks GLD!). If you like that stock keyboard...installing that will solve your problems. If you want a themed HTC_IME keyboard instead...give me a few and I will be posting a Tangerine, Blueberry, Green (probably used for the smoked theme), and Red themed versions (cause everyone could use a splash of Red every now and again ).
Or, if you have Root Explorer, just go to /system/app, tap the "Mount R/W" button at the top, long-press on Launcherpro.apk and delete it, then tap "Mount R/O."
it worked! thanks so much.
just out of curiosity, what do sysrw and sysro mean?
Ok...I just finished installing. Seems very nice and fast thus far. I have one issue though...what happened to the 3D rotating app drawer. I LIKED that....but I can't find an option for that in here anywhere. Am I missing it?! TIA

I copied this from the 1.3 thread cause I thought it might be helpful information...

the more i get using this rom the more i love it. again i'm new to this game, but my battery life has been badass, AND everything is much quicker then the ota stock froyo update. and it looks way sicker of course themed out in black. i thought of another question while i was sleeping (and dreaming in android..) - if i want to change themes from smoke to tangerine (for example) everything will be fine if i just flash the tangerine theme, correct? or do i need to go through clearing data, flashing the rom then flashing the theme again..? thanks in advance for the sick rom liquid. i am now officially hooked on mod'ing my droid..
First of all...If you are discussing the 1.4 version of the ROM (that supports the tangerine theme), you might want to move this conversation to the 1.4 thread
Secondly...If you are running 1.4 and you are running the Smoked theme...you can change to any of the other themes. Adding a theme doesn't require you to wipe data or anything like that....but there are some considerations you should be aware of.
For example: If you are running Smoked theme...all the other themes can be applied over it and it will be just fine. The smoked theme is the "least themed" version. If you were to reverse it and load the tangerine theme FIRST and then try to go to the Smoked theme, you would be left with the Smoked theme and several Tangerine themed icons
Best Practices: When you load a ROM with multiple themes available you should get all your apps, settings, etc setup just the way you want it on the Stock theme. Then you want to make a backup (this is very important). Now, flash a theme. If you don't like the theme or just want to try a new one, restore your "stock" backup and then apply the new theme over that. This ensures that the theme will work flawlessly and you won't have little bits of multiple themes overlapping each other.

Problems with Flash audio streaming (probably just me)
I dunno if its just me (and it probably is), but I'm having serious issues with streaming Flash audio with LFY 1.4. I've tried using yourmuze.fm and a local sports radio site (sportsanimal99.com) and, oddly enough, the ads from sports animal play perfectly, but when I get into the actual stream, the audio plays in slow motion. The exact same thing happens on yourmuze.fm as well. I was able to stream without a problem on a couple of earlier ROMs (BB .4 and Lithium from ROM Manager, I know for sure).
I'm currently in the process of restoring a nandroid of Sapphire that I made to see if I have the same problem with the same version of Flash i'm running on LFY. I reaaaaally hope its a problem with Flash and not somethign weird with my ROM install, because I absolutely love your ROM. Even talked my fiance into letting me root her phone because she was amazed at how fast and nice looking everything was. She's now among the "elite" with a rooted Droid using Liquid Tangerine =)
I'll report back with what I find from Sapphire.
**well, after restoring to Sapphire, all the streams I tried sounded normal. Gonna rip my Flash APK and make sure its the same version in LFY and see if that makes a difference at all.
**well damn, it doens't make a difference. I'm running Flash 10.1.72.7 and it 100% works on the latest Sapphire. Anybody got suggestions of what I can try? I really want to use LFY, but I gotta have my streaming fix during the day. =(

There is a setting in Launcher Pro which allows this go to Launcher Pro Preferences. Advanced Settings 7th row from the top should e the option to have a 3D Drawer.

And UBR, my friend's software keyboard is unresponsive on the last row, he is stock 2.1 Do you think reinstalling that apk you posted solve the problem?
What ever happened to the option of putting your phone into silent mode (no ring or vibrate) by pressing the ringer volume one below vibrate? I can only get my phone to either do a silent (no ring) + vibrate or silent + no vibrate. Am I missing something? or is this missing from this ROM? or Froyo 2.2 in general?

Actually GirLuvsDroid posted that keyboard but to answer your question...possibly. I would first grab another keyboard to rule out the possibility that the screen could be the issue. I just posted 4 of them...download one of those to test
Totally new to the rooting process, I LOVE THIS ROM!!! Thank you so much for all the work! I rooted to solve the issue with the SiruisXM app, which now works after a tweak, FTW!
totally newb question here, how do i apply the themes? I can't get it to come up in the ADB options and really cannot find a place where it tells me how to install one of the cool themes that accompany this ROM.
Thanks in advance!
Just use ROM Manager and install it as though it would be a ROM (install update from SD Card). If using SPR, then rename to update.zip and install.
I just tried installing the Blueberry keyboard, and it is not displaying. I installed it via Astro, and then rebooted and still nothing.
You have to go to settings > language and keyboard > check the box for HTC_IME mod
Then when you long press on any text field a pop up will appear and say "input method". Select that and then choose the HTC_IME option. Then click on the input field again.

^...... like the person above i also don't like the orange tint to the icons as much as the original. is there any way to use the original (icons) in this build?
This question has already been answered read up the post it ain't that long yet
yup you were correct. i didn't read far back enough apparently. but I'm pretty sure all this has been good for me b/c it made me mess around w/ LauncherPro a lot and made me realize that I actually do like it. ALOT actually. So much I'm officially ditching (or backing up to SDcard and deleting) ADW.launcher even though it has been VERY good to me. but I do like LancherPro so much that I actually JUST purchased the pro version (just after half a day of use!) and I'm glad I did. One of the best home replacements definitely. So glad I finally decided to root and thank you LiQuID FroZeN YoGurT for showing me the awesomeness that is LancherPro

Damn...
I just want to point out that this ROM has a current Rating of 4.89 with 29 votes! Seems to me that everyone is liking this ROM a lot! Good stuff!
I know that liquid is constantly trying to add features and correct issues. For example, many of you seem to be having some iffy feelings about the Droid2's keyboard as the default keyboard...Liquid has already said that the next release (which he started talking about before he posted 1.4) would go back to the original stock keyboard and the Droid2 keyboard would be an optional download.
So post it! What would you like to see added, changed, etc? I personally wanna see how far Liquid can push this ROM! You might not see your request on the next release...but eventually, you probably will!
And although I hate when people tell you that "you should donate"...having seen how much work has gone into 1.3 and 1.4.........my cheap ass donated...nuff said

I would like to see the reboot into recovery option and perhaps some battery life tweaks. Not that battery life isn't good with liquid but I think there are roms with better expectancy.

The reboot to recovery has been in there since the beginning! And a lot of us are seeing great battery life.
I (wesx6x@hotmail.com) just donated to the cause also. so glad I rooted. I've seen at least a 4 hr battery increase since going from stock 2.2 to LiQuID FroZeN YoGurT v1.4 w/ a P3Droid Kernel
There is a setting in Launcher Pro which allows this go to Launcher Pro Preferences. Advanced Settings 7th row from the top should e the option to have a 3D Drawer.
Thanks...found it. For some reason, launcherpro didn't install with mine. I downloaded from the market with no problem...but I thought it was IN the rom??

It's not in the stock ROM because it's readily available in the Market. It is in the themed versions, because it has to be in /system/app in order to be themed.

Thanks...I guess I should have read the OP again...I read it the other day when it first came out...but not again before I installed. You guys rock...and so does this rom!
Maybe you could troubleshoot your issue in a similar fashion.
i decided to go back to LFY 1.4 with no theme, so i did a Wipe data/factory reset and a Wipe Cache Partition, reinstalled 1.4 and still had the same issue and this was before i reinstalled any apps. another issue i saw was opening an attachment in gmail i would get the message in the pic. so then i decided to go to a stock frg22 and now no issues. so i thought i would try what UB suggested here in the 1.3 thread
"I SWEAR by this method...I don't flash a ROM without doing this and I NEVER have installation issues...
1) Reboot into recovery (Clockwork preferably)
NOTE: If you haven't already done a backup...do one now. I always perform my backups via ROM Manager so I can properly label my backups. If you need to do a backup at this point it will work exactly the same way but it names your backup with time and date information (you can rename the file later )
Here's how to create a backup in Clockwork Recovery
Code: From the main recovery screen, go to:Nandroid and then select "Backup" 2) Select "wipe data/factory reset" - This will actually format your Data, Cache, and SD-ext partitions
3) Go into the "partitions menu"
4) Format "Boot"
5) Format "System"
6) Go back to the main screen (power button backs you out to the previous menu)
7) Install zip from sdcard
Done...that is the way I have done it forever. You can do the same thing if you are using SPRecovery but you have to do it using ADB (there are not menu options to format partitions like there is with Clockwork).
Hope that helps!"
But now I got the OTA froyo notice on my pnone. Can I still go into recovery and reinstall 1.4 without the pending OTA update causing any problems?
im gonna try chevy's ulv 1.2 to see if there is any difference in battery life. i have been using my ole stand by p3droids lv 1.2 designed for this rom. it works great on ss4.6 but not so much on this one.
for my phone anyway.
