What do you love most about belonging to this Forum?
Hi all
I am new here and hope to soon have an Android phone of my own, once my old contract is up. I am debating between the new Droid X or the Evo. But my question to everyone is;
What do you enjoy most about belonging to this forum? Is it the helpful tips and advice of follower Android users? Is it the sense of community? Is it something in between? Looking for any ideas on the topic. For me, as a soon to be android owner, I think I am gonna benefit most from reading all the reviews and tips regarding the different phones available.

This forum is one of the most tame I have ever been apart off. Mods do a great job as far as I can tell also. You always get a pretty quick answer to your questions too. Good stuff!

I like all the great help on here and how everyone seems to pitch in. I answer questions when I can and love how quickly I get answers to my questions.
The community is great too. If you have an app request there are developers to work with you.
I found a great group on meetup.com for Cowboys fans in Seattle thanks to a member on here.
We are just a great community of Android fans that all want to help Android grow and make sure everyone enjoys their device to the max.

At first I liked that I could find every Android related information I wanted to know here. I also liked how people helped newcomers.
Then I started to help newcomers myself, and I really like the feeling. I hope people will always be kind to the newer members, as they probably are the active members of tomorrow.
An old forum I used to go on a lot and eventually became a moderator of was tip.it, a runescape fansite. I don't play anymore, haven't for years. But it was the first major forum I ever used, and it was very active, one of the largest on the internet (english speaking at least). Subsequently any other forum I went on was very rarely as active. Also with runescape you can imagine there were a lot of kids on that board.
I love this forum because it's active as hell and the average user actually has an IQ in the triple digits unlike the vast majority of the internet.
I think everyone else hit on it already. I love that this forum is helpful for ALL users. You can be a seasoned veteran or a brand new user and still get treated and helped the same way!

I've learned so much about Android phones here. I was a total newbie to smartphones in general when I bought my Incredible, but thanks to the patient users of this forum I've been able to use my Incredible to its fullest potential.

LMAO! yea my face was scaring the noobs away... Plus its football season!
BAHAHAHAHA! i was wondering why there was an increase in noobs lately. because you changed the pic!
BTW, for those still reading this thread, seriously.....you will not find a better community than this. I was a huge Crackberry guy for a while and as good as that site was, it doesnt compare to AF (IMHO).
