Requesting gv invite
It appears that Google Voice is the only app that will permit phone call recording. I have tried all the available apps and none work. If anyone can spare an invite my life will become simpler. Thanks in advance.

Google Voice, The Droid and Verizon
I discovered something interesting after trying to use PdaNet to tether my laptop through the droid for Internet connectivity. It seems that verizon has blocked access to GoogleVoice through the Droid being used as a modem. Guess they don't want me making calls through the calls tab in a full blown Google browser access. The Droid App doesn't allow you full use of GoogleVoice either. I got around it, by using VNC app and TightVNC on my home PC. I tunnel into my desktop, open Google Voice and do my thing.

Just added you to the Wave list. May take a day or two to go through, but you should have it sooner rather than later.
I've got another 20 or so to pass out if there are still people here that would like one. Just pm me your gmail info and I'll do what I can for as long as they last.

Hey folks new guy here! Just picked up a Droid Eris for me and the wifey last week! So far I'm loving it, but Verizon's charges are killing me. Bill has gone up almost $50 since the switch from T-Mobile. Looking to add GV to my account to save some dough on the texting fees.
