I love Sundays! Sleeping in, good tv, brunch (which always means drinking before noon without judgement) and a big production in the kitchen. Good times

I have the dream and when I connect to my university's open network i can't get to my logon screen from the browser included on my phone. Regularly on my laptop, I would click internet explorer and would click on 'continue anyway' and it would take me to the logon screen. What can I do?
I just came across this quote from Tim Bray's blog upon his joining Google as a "Developer Advocate" for the Android platform. This sums up, in part, why I am frustrated with my current experience with the !ph0ne (and AT&T) and why I'm excited to get my hands on the HTC Incredible, once it is released by VZW:

The iPhone vision of the mobile Internet’s future omits controversy, sex, and freedom, but includes strict limits on who can know what and who can say what. It’s a sterile Disney-fied walled garden surrounded by sharp-toothed lawyers. The people who create the apps serve at the landlord’s pleasure and fear his anger.
I hate it.
I hate it even though the iPhone hardware and software are great, because freedom’s not just another word for anything, nor is it an optional ingredient.
The big thing about the Web isn’t the technology, it’s that it’s the first-ever platform without a vendor (credit for first pointing this out goes to Dave Winer). From that follows almost everything that matters, and it matters a lot now, to a huge number of people. It’s the only kind of platform I want to help build.
Apple apparently thinks you can have the benefits of the Internet while at the same time controlling what programs can be run and what parts of the stack can be accessed and what developers can say to each other.
Have you ever seen a crocodile seats in the truck
Turn around sit it down and let 'em bite your butt

With your baby momma - player, is where you can find me!
But nah I'm done posting absurd amounts Plus that was over the course of four years. Some users on that board got up to 50,000. These days Facebook and Twitter are enough for me, I've been slowly backing away from forums which I guess is normal as I get older and have more stuff to do with college...well most forums except Android Forums of course, this damn place has me hooked good!

I find twitter useless (for me...) Hate FB now...I prefer when it was for college/uni students and was a form of networking on campus. I mean...it peeves me that my 13/15 year old nieces kept adding me...or that my boss has an account >_>
AF is my first forum that I have ever joined and I find it quite addictive as my friends can attest...most of them have banned me from talking about Android to them...which causes me to run here for some Android sanctuary, lol.
I like Twitter because I get to follow athletes and sports athletes since I'm a sports junkie. I have a few friends on there too and hopefully more join but until then the majority of them are on Facebook. I guess I was one of those punk kids in high school who copied the college kids but I'm in college now though so hopefully I'm in the clear now . I agree about the overuse but it doesn't bother me much. When you start having family adding you, you know it's getting a bit saturated. My mom made an account and added me...you should've seen my expression when I saw that friend request. After the shock subsided I just declined it. It would be weird having my mom looking through my friends list and snooping through my stuff. Sucks having your boss on Facebook, you're walking in a land mine field now.
My friends probably don't even know what Android is. The other day hanging out, there was a total of three iPhones and a BB Storm in the group disregarding my crappy crap phone lol. So because of that I have no choice but to come here to get my fix

I always felt being open was a great tool for communication lol.
Luckily for me, my job paid for my schooling so now that I'm done I get to move up the ladder
