Larry was re-glueing and bolting the connections for a force main sanitary system together again. Instead of excavating it up, he went head first and fixed it in 10 minutes. Not all at once of course.

I do not recommend doing this. I warned agensed it, and actually shut the contractor down afterward. We had a little pow wow about jobsite safety.

I can't help but laugh when I catch American Idol or X Factor auditions on TV. Some of those people really need to stick to their day jobs.

I don't know how I missed Granites post about being smacked around with a sandwich.

I am starting to feel a little ill. The weather is turning cold, my eyes feel weird and I'm pretty tired. Gotta get some rest.

I like the cold weather. It's weird though, when everything dies, my allergies act up. NO other time of year.

Me and my fiancée live in San Antonio and last night his allergies were horrible. They're still horrible today actually. I think it's something like mountain cedar. He says it always hits when it's cold.

Too early for mountain cedar (thankfully), mold is high and ragweed is moderate.

Thank god I have no allergies.

Love the cold, but love the heat more. Minnesota gives me the best of both worlds. I don't really like the in-between, where we are now.

Sure would love a big bowl of ice cream right now. Vanilla ice cream with Hershey's syrup on top and a spoon full of malted milk powder sprinkled on top.

E.T. is NOT cute. He is creepy and I abhor the movie. The only good things from the movie are the popularity that Reese's Pieces gained and Drew Barrymore.

Haha, yeah, that's pretty much true. E.T. is quite a creepy little thing. Phooooonnnee hoooooommmmme.

He's an alien, he would likely just harvest all the humans as labor to mine water from the planet. Or gold. I'm still researching what it is that aliens *really* want from earth.

Wait till you have kids ( if you don't have any yet), it never goes away.

On another note:

Why do we park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway?

Also I want a Coney Island Hotdog with chilli and onions, or a Sundowner!! Oo, OOOO, oo or maybe City Chicken (actually pork).

Man, you guys have made me hungry. Actually, you just reminded my that I'm hungry.

I was playing around on this site that has some crypto challenges - so much fun.

It really just left me realizing that I need to get a much better grasp on python or perl.

Amazed at how some people draw the conclusions that they do about people they don't know or things they read about.

Sorry, just kidding. I hate losing money myself but I haven't been hourly in over 12 years!

Random Thought: Tomorrow I sleep sans a/c!

I've been working on a python project for a while today, to decipher a crypto challenge from some site...

Well, after a long while, I was pretty close this afternoon. Then I paused my VM, went to class and came home. When I got back home, of course, the unthinkable happens, a BSOD kills my vm. And sure enough I was saving everything to /tmp.

Well, I got it now, and it's not even 1 am. The site to submit the plaintext is currently offline.

Thumbs up An eye for a Guide

Wondering why the AF member eyebeam is not a Guide, with as much as he contributes to this site, i.e. : Willing to make wallpapers he truly deserves to wear some type of AF badge.
