A lot of things grind my gears. Here's a few, for your entertainment:
-People trying to race me. Just because my car is modified doesn't mean I want to race you. Go away, moron.
-Christmas commercials. Its the beginning of November. Not only are you annoying me, you're stealing Thanksgiving's thunder, and I wont stand for that. Turkey > Christmas commercials.
-Fanboys. Even if I agree with you, if you're completely blind to any other side of the argument, you're an idiot and I will not associate myself with you. Stop giving me a bad name.
-Impatient people. Take a deep breath, guy-with-a-bluetooth-headset-who-thinks-he's-important.
-People who tailgate me in the right lane on the highway. First and foremost, if something happens in front of me, I can guarantee you my car will stop far quicker than yours. However, that wont be a problem, because I'm perfectly fine with coasting down to 30mph in a 65mph zone. Hope you like it back there! Oh, and for the record, my car blows fireballs every now and then.
Thats enough for now, but rest assured, the list is a long one.
I'm so effing tired of my coworkers/bosses babying the worthless coworker that's been here TWENTY YEARS and doesn't know how to do a single thing - therefore making us do all the work. All of it.
"How do I put shortcuts on desktop."
"How do I get to add/remove programs."
"How do I install this?"
"How do I do that?"
"I don't know how to fix, reassign to someone else."
God forbid he get anything other than a flash player update. Because then we have to do it. Since he doesn't know what the crap Google is.

You know what grinds my gear? The fact that my girlfriend gets over 2000 worth of parking tickets in the past 6 months, but I want to spend 300 on pc parts and get shit for it.

im really glad i got my hero back and rooted :P but im really ready for eclair. I hate how up in the air providers keep their updates... i dont need a date but a monthe or at least a window would be great....

TWITTER, really, need I say more? I'll vent anyways: Since twitter started you can't even watch sport center anymore without hearing about twitter. The news = twitter, blogs = twitter, sports = twitter, just about any website = twitter. AAAGGGGHHHH. Enough already, who really wants to know what you are doing 30 times a day. And to make things worse I can't even remove twitter from my new Eris. ****.
Companies still worrying about making millions or even billions while they are laying people off and most people are struggling to get by.
Most of all (Twitter is a very close 2nd): America getting the rest of the world's scraps when it comes to new tech. When I was in the navy I bought a new sony phone right before going on deployment (Phone was brand new in US) 6 weeks later I was in China and the upgrade to that phones upgrade was already out. At least Apple released the iPhone in America first to try to balance things out. If they would just quit fighting jailbreaking and put it on other carriers than AT&T I would still have my 3GS because face it, a Jailbroken iPhone 3GS is still WAY better than anything else we can buy in america.

Ticked that google disabled active sync capability for the treo. You use to be able to sync google calendar/contacts ala Palm Pre to the Centro via versamail, and now it's gone. I've got 6 Centros I'm trying to convert over to Google's stupid phones, and six employees who don't even know what Palm Desktop or syncing is. They all backed up to their card. And I have zero time or patience to walk them through it all. Thanks Google for making it even more difficult to use your product. Spent 20 minutes trying to setup the one phone getting nowhere, only to hop on the net and see many are struggling with that problem. Add to that the GSM upgrade in the UK and on T-Mobile that pretty much crippled the Treo 680. Seriously sounds like some major collusion between Google and the carriers to get Treo users to upgrade. Okay, that's a stretch, but rather interesting nonetheless.
The whole drive to using Google's PIM just pisses me off because it's at the expense of PIMs that actually worked well and are a much more complete solution than Google still is. Now you have to deal with third parties to do any kind of "syncing" with a non google solution.

Hero owner, 4 days.
Even though I'm not happy with windows mobile I'm having a very hard time getting the same functionality and info out of my Hero. The calendar is completely non functional, an exaggeration, but there is nothing about it that is helpful. I have to go through about 4 extra steps to see what I have coming up, I haven't found anything that will allow me to look at files located on the SD card and open or move them, probably my inexperience, but for something that is "intuitive" I wouldn't think I would have to hook up to my computer to access items on the SD card. The phone doesn't list the times that people called, there is no customization of the Time/Weather item, Tasks aren't available. I'm essentially looking for help so that I can get the most out of the Hero and Android. Right now this is not a functional business phone it is a kids phone with cool adders.
I'm so tired of job interviews for jobs that suck... this is Oregon tards you cannot pay me 10 bucks an hour to knock on doors its winter and the rainy season.... ad the you don't offer health care? well o shit you would go broke paying for cold ad flu shit... tard

did you bother to look through the app store? things like pure calendar and cal widget can throw your agenda on the home screen, take up the whole page even with the 4x4 view. Better than win mob, bb, Pre any day. calwidget is free too.
There are also quite a few file managers in the app store too.
I guess I hate people that don't bother to do any research or actually use any sort of search to find out about things they don't know before ranting and complaing

Idiots that don't know how to enter an interstate. The ramp is so that you can get the car going up to 60 OR BETTER! WHY do some think they need to enter the highway at 40 mph and THEN speed up???? These are the same people that slow down to 50 one mile before their exit. Save me!!

add to that all the "your phone sucks, my phone rules" crap. I just find it amazing people care that much about their phone and their choice that they need to poke fun and put down someone else's choice.

i have been waiting for the xperia for a while now because it will actually be the only phone that, hardware and software combined, has the ability to be better than the iphone and have more computing power. only to realize that the phone politics are already going to have their way with it and not let it ship with android 2.0 and not give it full local multitouch capabilites. i know that by the time this phone actually gets around its going to be crippled, crippled, crippled until its crap but still expensive as hell. i am so glad that they didnt do this type of stuff with laptops and computers as bad as they are doing it with cell phones. we would still be pretty far behind if they had. politics...

What gets me? People on boards like this one bashing all the different phones and OS's except their own. Different strokes for different folks and what works great for you may not for someone else. My priorities are not your priorities and so on. I think Apple is over priced but that does not mean the OS sucks. I also hate people who bash Windows just because that's what everyone has done for years. Get over it.
One last rant. sorry but I just have to say it. The words their, there and they're are NOT interchangeable just as your and you're are not. Somebody please make an effort to get these straight. Just one of my little pet peeves I guess. Grrrrr
When the courier company loses my package. Yes, that is you DHL, which lost my Motorola Milestone order from Expansys . So right now Expansys have my 517€, probably someone in Germany plays on my Milestone and i will maybe, maybe get my money back or new phone in 2 weeks if DHL will not play dead.

you can always add layers or even those heater packets when you're cold. You can only remove so many layers to cool down without breaking any decency laws...
