Default Good Bye T.E.D. II Will Miss You (09/04/2008 - 01/24/2011)

In Memory Of T.E.D. II (HTC Tilt 2)
My T.E.D. II was here for only a short while before its winmo windows froze one last time (and i took a sledgehammer to it). He shall be Trooly Missed....

May he "Rest In Pieces"... I went through SIMdrawals for almost 3 months until finally I found a new body suitable to transplant T.E.D. II's heart into. Now his siminnerds reside within T.E.D. III (Dell streak 5) Hes doing fine and doesn't seem to remember is past life as an HTC-winmo. But now, that DELL disncontinued the Streak... i am becoming wary for my Streak support and need to "plan for the future"... but should my T.E.D. III ever take to the greener pastures... I shall be prepared, got another plot here in Cellphone SIMetery all picked out for'em

LOL I like this idea. Unfortunately, I've never had a phone die/break on me so I cannot contribute to this.

Rest in pieces Samsung Captivate build 1009. Drowned it when I fell into my pool last June. Got it for Christmas and was my first Android phone. Now it's replaced by a newer Captivate built in June. The dead phone now sits in a drawer completely disassembled.

I threw my first one, a big Qualcomm into a bonfire when someone said that would be a good place for the things. I was as surprised as everyone else to see it sailing through the air, while I looked over my fingertips as it hit the flames.

My brother just recently got a new phone. Went to the range, and shot his old one. Made the new one watch so it knew what would happen if it let him down - his words!

RIP my Moto Droid. Decieded to go in to my recliner (guess it thought it herd a female droid calling to him?) and when I went to get up and raised the back I heard a crunching noise and was hard to get the back up. Then later I couldnt find my droid and the light bulb went off. As I fished out my poor buddy the screen was completely shattered.

Thanks Rico ANDROID for the headstone. It gives me some closure on my fallen comrade.

That is my intentional spelling. The graphic text entry restricted the number of characters.

I was really offended and upset when I saw that you spelled cemetery wrong. I'm glad I figured out it was intentional, lol. I also have never had one croak on me.

sorry im gonna have to buy up like half your plots

Moto droid 1- took a swan dive off my mattress about 8 months ago, screen wont turn on anymore
moto droid x- went for a swim in a sink, then got run over by a car , then I finally upgraded to the Galaxy nexus, once that phone came in the screen cracked in my car (not sure how just kinda happened)
Samsung fascinate- Strapped to a bottle filled with vodka and tequila then thrown into a fire.
Old virgin mobile slider phone- stepped on by a track spike by accident.
Blackberry storm 1+2- took a sledge hammer to them
HTC touch pro 2- duct taped to the face of a bowling pin, then proceeded to roll my 14lb ball until it was dead.

plenty of other dead phones but those were the most fun/interesting...

First my Moto Droid stopped accepting text messages. Last week it stopped calls. Luckilly my contract was up on the 6th and I switched from Verizon to Cricket with the Mercury. The fate of my Moto is to be determined..Please reserve one plot until I decide on its total demise.

Post My samsung Galaxy S

i dumped my samsung galaxy Y in the back yard of my home.
It did a lot of dishonor to me with issues all the time from the date of purchase.
After a big struggle for technology i finally set it free.
Samsung users have to get a new phone for every updated technology.

(Your lot has been appended to the roster. See the "Show" tag in message #1)

Thanks.

...sniff, sniff... business is "dead" in Cell Phone SIMetery! Too many good phones on the market these days! You mean NOBODY has a recently departed handset they wish to lay it to 'rest in pieces' in 2012???

Default 2012 Special in Cell Phone SIMetery

Show your dearly departed cell phone some dignity! Put that thing to rest in pieces in AF very own Cell Phone SIMetery!

Post a tribute and/or pic of whats left of your last phone before it moved to greener digital pastures!

None of my phones ever died. They were just retired.

My previous phone, the HTC Desire Z needed a battery transplant. I was unable to find one in time for my vacation, so I got a new phone instead. My Desire Z still works. Just not for very long.

The one before that was a Nokia N97. It was retired because it sucked. I brought it out of retirement a few months later as a music player due to its 32 GB of storage and FM transmitter. I can play my songs over any FM stereo. I used it in my old car and in my various stereos in the house. Pretty handy. My new phone took over the role of playing music over my car as it has BlueTooth. My old stereos didn't have that it is nice being able to play my music on them.

Greetings, Stuntman, here in CellPhone SIMetery, we have accomodations for your dearly (cough)....retired loved ones. Lets take a stroll down here where we call this section our "Shady Rest Retirement Plots"....this is where you can send your retired devices to a nice and cool, dark, static-free "oh so compfy" (cough, cough).....resort where they can live out the twilight of their days......shall we, uh.........sign them in?......

Ditto. None of my phones actually die. They are all in purgatory in a desk drawer. I change my phones so much I get a new one before the last is out of warranty. The only phones that made it past the 1 year of ownership were my HTC hero, and motor krzr. Working on my galaxy s2x. Warranty up in December. Its been almost a year already. My iPhone 4 never made it 4 months. Small boring and lame.

ha ha. My hero is out being charged as we speak and going to get a new custom rom. The blackberry pearl and HTC 640 do live in the drawer. The ip4 was sent to another user who travels and needed an unlocked phone. My g2x is unlocked and ready for our travels too.

Rico, you are back in business. Three of my past phones need to be laid to rest. My first phone, an LG Cu400 died yesterday. My Samsung Eternity also went to Silicon Heaven. My Blackberry went to Hell after I murdered it.

Recently lost my Pantech Crossover D: It didn't survive a recent camping trip.. couldn't swim too well

But it was on it's last stretch anyways... and my Samsung Rugby Smart is turning out to be a pretty good phone.
