Hey y'all...still getting the error toast message even after clearing data. I have reinstalled and everything as well. Is it possible that the phandroid app doesn't play well after being zip aligned? Just a thought cos I cannot figure this one out?????

Miss you guys.
Razor...isn't it a shame that Comcast isn't supported, though, I could have sworn I read an article a couple weeks back about Comcast getting compatibility for this...I will research.
Blkblt...sorry about the kernel...I know you will get it.
BB...I like to Bork...cousin of spork.
Jb...how tempted are you to run Lou's RR?
Early...I am loving the thread about Microsoft and their BS reasoning for a more secure computer... Linux FTW!
Where the heck is Steven?
Has anyone seen our beloved Bloodsucker?
Seriously though you all....family crisis started at 5a PST on Monday and I have work/family helpered most of the time since then with just 14 total hours of sleep.
Thanks for everything you all do...

The Phandroid app is dead and won't ever be updated to ics or anything so that may be a big problem

Certainly could be a possibility. I'm not a fan of using any of the start up tweaks. Try turn it off and re-install phandroid and see. My phandroid app works 100%

It is the Phandroid app I wish it would be upgraded
Personally I prefer Tapatalk anyway. I had bought Tapatalk specifically for Phandroid a couple of years ago.
On another note - I have a Map question. Anyone know if there is a way to flag points on Maps? It's great that I can now cache maps over wifi when I'm overseas, but unfortunately most things are in the local language. Not a problem in Europe, but in Asia it's pretty unreadable. It would be nice to flag hotels and landmarks (you know, like bars and strip clubs ) I've tried long pressing on my location, but that doesn't do anything for me.

Pinning the "lactation" maybe an interesting phrase...
But seriously I just ran into this 2 weeks ago, also in Asia. But by doing a Search in maps, letting it find say a bar or restaurant near to me, and then pinning the "location" worked for me....at least my directions were in English, although my map looked awful similar to that image.....good luck trying to have the cabbie take you somewhere but at least I can find the restaurant again if I want. (Should have taken some screenies)

Okay, I guess pin was the word I was looking for, not flagged. Now excuse my ignorance, but how do I pin a "lacation?"
Edit: Rereading Ryan's post I see I should be able to pin a location via the search while in wifi. That helps. But is there anyway to pin a location while walking around town?

So I had turned off all tweaks, including zip align, reinstalled, still no dice. I am wondering if TiBu is to blame: no I didn't reinstall data, just apps but who knows with batch restore? Even after said batch restore coming from a jbdan clean wipe, installing and reinstalling I am getting the error. I may start from scratch again but am soooo reluctant due to the limited time I have now with family taking a full front seat in my day to day.
I can't say that I am taking the best care of myself due to the amount of time sacrifice required by said family crisis, but I am sated by food and water. Sleep is partially out of the question for now, but I am taking all opportunities. Funny how one shifts behaviors from self to others in such dramatic fashion when it is all on the line. Brings perspective to former behaviors, none of which were reprehensible, though nonetheless had been weighted heavily in my immediate family's favor (Wife and Son).
Even as I type this, on the partiality disfunctional app, I question my time management. I guess we all need ME time, even in tough and unimaginable circumstances; it just feels difficult to find the proper justification when my heart is so heavy with the desire to go above my expected/potential ability.
I can see my wife beginning to understand the importance this place has in my life. While I operate with cautious openness, you all are no doubt an outlet I need so very much. So if I have to get into my PM inbox via browser then so be it; se la vi. For my sister-in-law, LIFE is sooooooooooo much more complicated.
/Thoughts.

CR - if you have your map open like your screen shot, and the blue arrow is there, like the GPS is telling you where you are...if you click on the blue arrow, it should give you a white cloud of words...click again this should give you a screen that explains where you are...top right corner there is a star...click that so its yellow. That's the pin feature in maps, right?
What I have found is that anything the map identifies...you can do the same thing with. Won't matter what language is on the screen, as long as the GPS locates a "place" where you are....a business, building, address, restraraunt, club, etc Just click the blue arrow and "star" it....you could try that as it works for me...that how I remember the stops I make while working, both here and overseas. I just have to keep in mind that Google maps may not have as much info about somewhere like a suburb of tokyo or Yokohama, Japan as Los Angeles.....

after updating the kernel to faux 11 beta 3, i can't get youtube to work. i've tried reflashing the gapps, but it didn't help. youtube works in the browser but not the app. i'm on aokp17 and everything was fine with faux 10m. any ideas?
update: restored my last nandroid. took a little under 15 mins and about 10% of my battery. everything seems to work now.

I think you put those two types of locations in there to bait me.
It worked!
Although I have to say the tiny stature of Asian women would make bars my more obvious choice. Then again, going to the other is always fun because guys almost never expect me to be just as filthy minded as they are.

I hope that you remember you can't take care of others if you aren't properly taking care of yourself. I know it seems hard to justify doing some things but we are a family of sorts as well and can help with being the place for you to 'unwind'. And as crazy as we are, this place, and all of you, have been the reason for me not making friends with the men in white coats a couple times.

I don't quite see my reading list and yours as being the same but if you like a bit of supernatural you might like Christine Feehan's Ghost Walker series. Its fluff reading but I have gotten a couple of my friends to admit its a guilty pleasure

Yeah, supernatural isn't really my thing. I really don't know what my reading preference is since these are the first books I've read since I was forced to read in school. Really enjoyed these three books though and something similar would probably hold my interest. I've heard the Millineum series is good (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and others..). Anyone read it?

I haven't read either but BB...I noticed starting in AOKP 19 maps was running. It was updated in the market last night and is most likely not relates to the ROM, just sharing a timeline really. Now I must get back to sleep.

P.S. BB...thank you for the kind words.

Have caught up on the new season. Can't decide who I think is best yet; Paul?

I strongly recommend the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George Martin. The series name may not sound familiar, but I'd wager it would ring a bell for more people if I told you they've been adapted into an HBO show called Game of Thrones. (The show is also phenomenal, by the way.)
I'd also recommend The Eyes of God by John Marco.

+1. I got hooked on the show and bought all four books in the series and I heard he just published a fifth.
